Some days you hit the hole. Others…..

I quit golf for religious reasons. Made me swear.

Tokkle Okkle is the exact correct sound the ball makes. How long did it take you to figure that out Kevin? Very onomatopoetic

Tokkul, also known as Tokkle, is a location in Final Fantasy III found at the southern end of the Floating Continent.

That’s a new word for me to describe sound.

You need to make an appointment to play golf?!? I’ve never had to do that when I play miniature golf.

He cheated! He unwittingly bounced the ball off of Norm’s shoestring!

Used to golf. This is typical of all golfers, lol!

It’s the same in tennis. The players who stick around remember their good shots and forget the bad. Just yesterday at the clinic, I ripped a backhand past the pro. I signed up for next week.

I played for years for that very reason…“intermittent positive reinforcement”. Then I finally wised-up. No more 4 hour time expenditures to get such a minor thrill.

Looks and sounds like an addiction: One moment he’s “quitting”. The next moment (with one lucky putt) he’s hooked into it again.

I don’t like any sports, but I don’t like golf the most.

Maybe he should use that as his new strategy…say that he’s quitting at every hole!

When you first start playing golf you will be happy with about one stroke in ten.

When you become Tiger Woods you will be happy with about one stroke in ten.

Better to play than to watch someone else playing

Maybe you can wean yourself off by playing putt-putt instead.

I tried picking up golf, but just couldn’t get the swing of it…(pun intended)

Even we bad golfers would hit just enough good shots (4 or 5 would do it, but 10 to 15 was a great day) during 18 holes and 100+ strokes to make us want to come back.
