Hillbilly legend?

Who here hates moths? I used to remember a moth following me everywhere and I hated it.

Not bad, Bucky, not bad. There may be hope for you yet.

Rural legends are cool. Around here, we have MoMo. Don’t go out in the woods today.

I live in the Shawnee National Forest near the Trail of Tears. The Legend around here is the ghosts of all the dead Cherokee that died on their forced march to their reservation in Oklahoma (SAD) live through out the woods. The wind in the trees at night make some strange sounds sometimes. I have found a few Arrowheads on my property.

There is a mothman museum in Pt Pleasant WV.

I hear Richmond is urban-ish.

I think of moths as butterflies of the night. They visit night blooming flowers and they’re as beautiful as butterflies.

The Mothman festival (?) is held at Point Pleasant, WV. Was he responsible for the tragic collapse of the nearby bridge over the Ohio river?

Except for the physical aspects, Satch’s description in the first panel sounds like Bucky.

I see why Bucky does Satchel the way he does because he takes “clueless” to a completely different level!

So, possibly just a “legend”.
