Maybe if it wasn’t for those stupid and corrupt cops causing all those riots and going against their policeman’s code of honor, people wouldn’t be afraid of you guys and the toy drive would’ve been successful.
in Chicago the precincts have been shelters for the overflow of immigrants. The local homeless population is getting even more pushed aside. No easy answers here. But the kids might love to have a toy..
My grandfather was sheriff when I was around 3 or 4 – he had dad bring me to the jail house and they locked me in a cell to show me what it was like – I was small enough that I slid through the bars to the next cell and walked out the open door… Everyone thought that was funny and cheered…

Does Captain Ruiz think prison is a fun place, too?
jagedlo about 1 year ago
I don’t think “fun” is the first thought in some people’s minds when they think of a police station…

Deliver them to a children’s hospital or orphanage. Nobody wants to go to a police station.

As above. Let the TV stations know that police will be delivering to the hospitalized kids. Send two male and two female officers.

Toy… Drive. It’s right there in the name. Drive ‘em someplace where the kids are and bam! Problem solved. On to this year’s Toy Not Driven collection.

A Toy Drive is to collect toys. It sounds like it was very successful.

Need I remind her of the time her cops stormed a summer camp because one camper said they didn’t like cops?
