The most amazing part of this is that 3-year-old April, whose family only goes to a church twice a year, has managed to grasp the idea that prayer is a form of communication. That is a pretty advanced concept for someone so small. She must be getting her religious education somewhere. Maybe her preschool is sponsored by a church or (my favorite idea) Farley has been teaching her.
I remember seeing a movie this time last year called Violent Night, where a young girl’s radio being tuned to Santa’s frequency was . . . important in ways I no longer recall.
We went to our local shelter on the 18th of December. 10 days after we lost our lurcher to a spinal tumour. Mummy saw a little Jack Russell. We called her Daisy Dumpling. She’s 15 now. Loved, spoilt and very vocal.

April wants to ask Santa for one of the baby pups and likely plans to plead her case :)

Santa’s always listening, much to the chagrin of Cavin, Hammie and other comic strips kids who are naughty by nature!

This holiday should be renamed Santasmas. If you really think about it, this holiday is about Santa. Jesus is a side point.
