It was doomed from the beginning.

The end has arrived.

What do you know, the end really was near!

I love the double-meaning. Either they won’t hear the end of “We told you so”, or they won’t be able to hear the details of how the group ended.

Is that a “Goodbye and thanks for all the fish” sign?

The final doom has not yet happened, but I have an uneasy feeling it’s getting close.

There is a whole branch of mathematics that can be applied to the Bible to prove that the end will be next week no matter when next week is. It’s based on a concept of “floating constants.”

An example of a floating constant is that one is approximately equal to two, especially for large values of one.

Floating constant mathematics is the only branch of the science understood by politicians.
