Better to lose it all now and find out about the flip side of gambling while he is new at it than to go ahead thinking he is a “Natural” on the slots. He needs to realize who really pays the bills on casinos.

I missed the point where TJ goes from this to the mature caring friend and housemate he becomes in the modern comic.

Vegas is much more strict about age

I had a “God-given” gift too because my family has a long line of people with memory and pattern recognition I’’m not allowed to gamble anywhere after I’ve been there once and in friendly games with new friends I get accused of cheating.
