So one second Luann is angry and walking out on Bernice… and two seconds later she wants to sit next to her for 3 months?? WTH?

So will we have a new arc on Monday? That would be my guess.

It’s January, by this point, it’d be more like two more months. Besides, if they want spring, just sit tight; with Climate Change, there’s always springline spells all winter long . . . just during Christmas, it was 66 degrees. Anymore, we already see 70s in February. It sucks.

Yesterday someone predicted that Bern and Luann would be sitting and chatting together today, and that’s what we have.

Bernice you have until March, and Luann Spring Semester.

No Thanksgiving arc, a sort of Christmas arc, like Brad would be from Toni on Christmas day. No New Years just the aftermath. Just writing it in at this point it seems.

Spring Semester…let the bikini clad sunbathing commence!!

Spring Trimester? It’s been some time since I’ve been immersed in an academic calendar, but it seems like it’s a little early for that trimester to be upon our intrepid students. Long may they have the money for their tuition, and, books. (At least until Bernice’s loans come due.)

Sounds like a plan to me! I shoveled 11 1/2" of heavy wet sludge yesterday/last night. More the next nine days!

I wonder if the choice of this Sunday is random or not. Maybe G&K want to reassure their readers that, despite misunderstandings and fights, Luann and Bernice are still best friends, practically sisters… Seeing them like this is nice, but just one page of friendship doesn’t make me stop thinking that Bernice is moving further and further away from Luann (and from humanity). It just make me wish she will realizes what a nuisance she has become and does something to change. Let’s go with Bernice’s redemption arc!

They have grown some since their tween years, sitting on Luan’s bed talking, often not even about the same thing.

A lot of people consider their best friends the siblings they never had. Bernice doesn’t even come close. She’s not even the ‘low level’ friend you’d want.

Only one hitch to your plans, Lu: bathroom. I liked (when I was little) to make my bear cave with a blanket, my teddy bear, a snack, and maybe a drink…And then the drat of it all was to get up to change the channel or to go to the bathroom.

The hardest part about winter is having to get out of the nice, warm bed first thing in the morning.
