Scratch the drum solo, Scratch.

I don’t know how, but Overboard got dropped from my queue, so I have been missing in action a few days. I’m too tired these days to notice these things.

You haven’t heard the Jimi Hendrix version of Silent Night. It isn’t 12 minutes, but it’s definitely one of a kind.

For Scratch, ‘Silent Night’ will just have to suffice as a replacement for ‘Mountain Jam’. Chip Dunham hasn’t gone there yet, but Scratch is soon to be revealed as a complete “Duane Allman-Era” Allman Brothers Band freak. Scratch got his name because of what he did to the guy who scratched his Eat A Peach album, right in the middle of “Ain’t Wastin’ Time”. Am I right, Chip?!?

Ginger Baker, one of the best, his solos were art.

So play “Little Drummer Boy” instead.

That’s what they get for giving Scratch his drum set Christmas present early.

Hi turkey, It makes you wonder what Chip will come up with next. Scratch, the protector of baby birds — who saw that coming? Scratch the fantastic drummer — who would have thought? Best Wishes, and may your holiday be all that you hoped for.

I’m glad my cat can’t play the drums!

Scratch should be in a heavy metal band.

Last year some choir members sang a “new and improved” version of Silent Night. It may as well have had a drum solo…I hated it!

Not sure about one going in “Silent Night”, but I’d be willing to give this drum solo a listen since I generally find them really cool …
