HAH! Calvin finally gets a taste of his own medicine!! Now, maybe he’ll stick to full-time snow-goon building.

Thats all fine and good up until Susie walks by… then, KAPOWIE!!

Sure felt that way though, didn’t it?

I wonder if the people who still imagine Hobbes to be part of Calvin’s imagination – as I assumed he was when I started reading the strip in November 1987 – imagine that Calvin only imagined the snowball or whether they accept that Calvin was hit by the snowball but imagine that he is only imagining that it was thrown by Hobbes.

It’s strips like this that make me consider the possibility that Hobbes is really alive: How could Calvin hit himself in the back of the head with a snowball?

Of course Hobbes is lying. Why would he even shout “LOOK OUT!” when throwing a snowball at Calvin?

They certainly went faster than the warning sound. Cold air acoustics are tricky. Tiger acoustics – even trickier. :)
