Do you like that movie?

I have never seen it, but the fitting payback would be to put both husband and son into bunny-suits for Christmas. And get a BB-gun for herself to make them wear those over the Holidays. Permanently. Until – say – Easter?

Just stream it. Or do what we do, borrow the DVD from the library.

Don’t understand the need to watch this (or most other Christmas movies) more than once in a lifetime.

My favorite is Miracle on 34th Street. The original 1947 version.

I have never seen the movie so I cannot comment on its merits or lack there of. We will be watching It’s A Wonderful Life and The Nativity and the Alistair Sims version of Scrooge, A Christmas Carol along with some of the perennial cartoon favorites.

She’s been saying it for over a week, you pair of twits.

I would think anyone that age would own at least one copy of their favorite Christmas movies.

I saved Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol, started to watch it and had to delete it. I wondered why it held good memories for me. The music is wretched and the animation is poor. Then I realized that it was memories of Christmas in general in my childhood that I cherished, not the movie.

Of course, it runs 24 hrs a day on Christmas.

So now you know what to buy her for Christmas…

Focus, people…Focus…….

With that build up I thought she’d get burnt out on it when it was time to watch it.

Get with the times, lady – I have it on DVD. And because I couldn’t find my DVD a couple years ago year, I bought it digitally on a streaming service. And because I forgot I had it on one streaming service last year, I bought it again on another one.

… I might actually be worse than her…

I have it on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K. Which would you like to borrow?

I agree that Peg should just get her own copy. But isn’t this really about thoughtlessly ‘wife deaf’ husband and son?

For heaven’s sake, buy the DVD! To go through the season without getting to see that movie at least once would be an absolutely unforgivable travesty!

Santa is going to be dropping an awful lot of coal into a couple of stockings come Christmas Eve at that house……

Just go to your DVR’s ‘recently deleted’ list and undelete it. And feed those punks coal for dinner.
