I donāt know about it being a world record. When I go to bed at night I often fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. That use to anger my wife to no end!:-)
This morning I woke up at four, listened to radio news shows for two hours, then fell back asleep for another two hours. Earlier when I woke up, I woke myself back up again by snoring, so you never can tell what puts me to sleep.
An indoor sundial would be a fun invention. The wheel needs to be geared for one revolution in 24 hours. Or 24.24 if you want a challenge to keep the dial adjusted.

Love the indoor sundial. Had the artist chosen to not have any dialogue, I wonder how many people wouldāve figured it out? Not me!
