I guess Jon does have his uses.

So today during a break in the weather there were people outside taking walks, walking their dogs, and stopping to socialize. It compelled me to get up and….you guessed it. Close the curtains!

“O Curtain! my Curtain!” Garf is truly a cat of some “W(h)it, man”!

Next stop, cabin fever.

Staring into a bright light helps moderate seasonally ajusted depression. I use spotlights.

I just want to see blue skies again, been a long winter so far for us.

Is the portrait over the fireplace a subtle nod to Harvey?I can’t see Jon having a portrait taken and being dressed in actually coordinated clothes . . .unless Liz insisted.

I feel relieved that there is a log in the fire place- not Jon’s ties.

Snuggle up with family and/or friends. That’s the best way to chase those blues away.

I assume that’s Mom and Dad in the picture on the side wall. I wonder who’s the guy in the portrait over the mantel?

To the person who questioned who the person in the portrait in the mantel is, that’s basically the same portrait that’s been seen in a lot of Garfield strips through the years.

That would be even funnier if there wasn’t so much truth to it.

Wintertime blues comes from not getting enough bright light, not from seeing snow and bare trees. Closing the curtains will make it darker and exacerbate the problem.

Poor snowman. Good idea though Garfield!

I love winter. Anything is better than hot weather.
