So, now it’s “leftovers du jour”.

I have a crockpot and make a big batch that will last several days. It gets better each day.

Soup du semaine?

So Loretta’s soup is similar to the saying: “The beatings will continue until morale improves?”

But………..not like a good wine, it hasn’t improved with age ! ! !!

During lean times my mom’s soup was similar to the story of “Stone Soup”. Every day she would add something new to it to keep it going. With a sandwich accompaniment we still ate well. I still love a grilled cheese sandwich with a bowl of soup on a cold winter’s day.

Soupe du troisième jour.

Yesterday, today and tomorrow are days…soup is soup…as long as it lasts soup…

Today, it’s one letter different: Soup du sour.

And we’ll keep having it until the courts declare it “soup de juere”!

Loretta intends to make it “Soup of the Week.”

I wouldn’t complain if someone cooked for me.
