Used to judge these. There were so many totally done by parents including one by my daughter’s middle school science teacher. One friend’s comment to the student was: “ I wish you had let your son do this without you.” I quit as did others.
In the Laconia, NH high school the science fair was a big deal: home rooms had projects, They brought in guest lecturers (one lecturer demonstrated Tesla coils and made big sparks), a teenage ham brought in some of his equipment. It was fun just to visit.
