Crankshaft is designed to be a cranky ash hole, so I’m not saying this because I expect or want it to be any different in today’s case – but; isn’t it peculiar how so many of Tom Batiuk’s strips rely on the regular characters acting out like petulant twits to professional workers?

Enough to gross out even a doctor and nurse. Here in three panels we see only a few small black dots. Maybe the good doctor finally put on gloves and spent hours removing the keratoses?
