Windbreaker. It reminds me of the Red Bovine song, the Phantom Windbreaker, that begins:

Does that mean she loves him? Still? Is that her way of talking in a loving way about her husband? Or does she have not so favorite windbraker as well?

I swear, Earl looks just like my Pop did when he was alive. He was always breaking ‘the wind’! Mom would just roll her eyes as she was used to it since they were married for 64 years. I miss them both very much.

That’s the gentle way of calling Earl an old fart.

It is nice that, after all these years, he’s still her favourite.
