Yay words!

I never heard of that “B”.

“Today’s word is brought you by the letter…….Uh….”

But announcing it this way is kind of contradictory – it is not subtle.

I theenk theirs a miss steak! My spell chekker says that it’s spelled “suttle”…

A silent consonant?

I’m the “g” in foreign. Everybody asks me where I’m from. Depending upon the mood I’m in, it is usually nowhere I’ve ever been.

pneumonia- the p is silent as in swimming. one of my dad’s favorite jokes

This brought to mind Tom Lehrer’s song, “Silent E”. ☺️
