I’ve seen 4 year olds with their own phones – and expensive ones too. You would have thought after seeing all the other young children dropping theirs on the floor all the time, you’d reconsider an unnecessarily expensive one. Just because they can have one doesn’t really mean they have to.
My daughter has tried to follow this rule, and it generally works. There are days that they get more, and of course at Grammie’s house there’s unlimited screen time. She enforces it because when she lets them have as much as they want, they get irritable and she has behavior issues.
As a kid in the 50s, night-time surfing was looking for Rock & Roll on AM radio. From Kitchener Ontario I could get WLS in Chicago, for their top three songs of the day, at 11:00 pm. On a good night, I could also get ABC in New York City, and stations in the Deep South.
And that exemplifies the problem and societal concerns. No doubt there is some good but the bad and the real bad elements are just that. Keep an eye on your boy Brutus and good luck…..

This explains why he struggles to wake up in the morning to go to school.

You have to get up pretty late in the day to follow his plan.

Sometimes I think that some people these days couldn’t find their way to the bathroom without their phone’s map app.

Wilberforce, it’s all fine and good until Brutus explains that the day is the whole 24 hours of it, not just the portion lit by the sun.

Dog with fleas scratch – Does that mean people are dogs also? Remember, Gentiles are called “dogs” by Jewish people in the Bible. Scratch that Itch.

What we have here is a failure to communicate what we mean by “day”.

Nice loophole Wilberforce! Get good grades, go to law school, and I may have a place for you in my firm!

Kinda surprised Wilberforce doesn’t have his own cellphone, or I should say leash. But that probably keeps him from walking into traffic.
