Hey Wayne, just to carry on your history, may the next loved one that is shot in a mass shooting be one of yours, not one of mine. And don’t worry, I will graciously offer my thoughts and prayers to you. Happy retirement.

“… The NRA “operated on a ‘Wayne-says’ basis,” even as LaPierre steered millions to his friends and himself, including by traveling to Greece, Dubai, and the Mediterranean on the donors’ dime, the lawyer for the state attorney general’s office, Connell, told jurors in Monday’s openings. …" — Business Insider

This letter can now be put in an envelope to be sent to the Kremlin. It’s nice of Wayne to give Putin more than two weeks notice. He must be hoping for severance pay (no rubles, please).

Yeah he’ll always have that blood on his hands, but we just gotta hope the next CEO will have their stuff together. Baby steps forward is still moving forward.

I doubt his replacement will be much different. As they say, “Power corrupts”. The new guy will want his kickbacks too.

There should also be piles of money with his fingerprints on them. Though NRA donors also have their prints on blood money.

This is good news. Other news about the NRA: fewer members every year, close to being bankrupt because of lawsuits. Maybe they won’t be able to pay off so many senators and we’ll see some real anti-gun legislation.

My late stepfather leaned to the right, so the NRA magazine still comes to the house. There;s a page devoted to “law abiding gun owners” who stopped criminals by shooting them——none of them ever made the regular news media—-so,fact or fiction?
