“Spawning season is only 7 second long! No wonder we are endangered!”

One of the reasons I never go fishing. If I ever to go to all the fuss and expense of catching something, I dang well am keeping it!

I went Salmon fishing once, we snagged them, didn’t care it

Um, salmon die after spawning. They practically rot as they head upstream.

Worst case of bluegills I’ve ever seen.

I’m not sure if this “backfisch” will call this deed SALMONic. But “who you gonna call?” SPAWNgeBob?

I never understood catching a fish if you’re not going to eat it. I mean, sure, it’s probably glad to escape with its life, but would prefer not to be caught at all.

Too bad you missed spawning, Larry, you’re such a catch.

Relax and put on some Phish!

We were doing the tourist thing in Alaska a number of years back. There were small streams no more than a few feet wide and a foot deep that had salmon running up them to spawn. The bears were feeding well there.

That fish has man teeth.

Mmmmmm. Salmon.

No harm? Having a hook lodged in your mouth, and being hauled out of your atmosphere?

I thought it was going to go straight into the mouth of something bigger.

Fishing for the sport of it ……and the beverages!!!!

My preferred method of fishing is to head to Cascade Locks and purchase 5 or 6 from the native population.

Kathleen Madigan did a comedy routine like this once where she compared humans being abducted by aliens and then returned to catch and release fish trauma. There’s a you tube video. Just search Kathleen Madigan, alien abduction. It’s quite funny.

On his hook it looked like a Flounder…
