    I get it, Lily.

I had a squirrel walk across my pink coat the other day with her very muddy paws. I was not pleased either. But she was so cute, what could I do. I love squirrels.

    Today is:

    MARTIN LUTHER KING JR DAY

    NATIONAL BOOCH DAY

NATIONAL SNOW DAY. That’s something we have in abundance here. I wish I could ship it to someone who wants it. I sure don’t.

    NATIONAL BAGEL DAY

    NATIONAL STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM DAY

NATIONAL HAT DAY. Make it a stocking cap. Something that covers you ears. It’s COLD out there! Minus 8F and dropping.

Still in high school in Massachusetts during the 60’s and seeing the Civil Rights protestors on television I did not really understand the deep significance of the whole thing. When Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated I had a teacher, a Brown University graduate, who enlightened us to the great loss it meant for our country. If it had not been for that teacher, I doubt I would ever had understood the significance of MLK Jr. Day.

Jack, Chesney, you’re in trouble again! If it weren’t so cold, I’d suggest exiling yourselves to the loading dock.

Ruh roh! Someone best skeedaddle off into the nether regions of the warehouse. LOVE their eyeballs and hair. Those always make me laugh.

One wouldn’t expect Lily, of all cats, to be using the first person singular.

Uh oh, looks like Jack and Chesney and in deep doo-doo! They’d better find a good hiding place before Lily catches up with them. On another note, saw two chickadees, five juncos, and a wren while out walking today.
