Depending on the state and how the lottery is paid out (Yearly or monthly deposits or all at once) , that would turn out to be somewhere between $20 to $30 million. I’ll gladly take it.
If I won the lottery I would really enjoy giving a lot of it way. And it would only be to organizations where it would have a real impact. Look, I love my alma mater but a $5 million donation to a university with a $30 billion endowment doesn’t mean much.
The famous French theater and film director, Jean-Louis Barrault, used to urge his artists to work “vite et mauvais”— “quickly and badly!” He wanted them to avoid self-editing and overthinking.
I think many people’s happiest memories were during a time when they had little money. But of course, that’s when they still had their youth. Money does help blunt the effects of aging…somewhat…
Good. With $60 million (probably about $15 million after the cash payment deduction and taxes), the brother shouldn’t be around asking for a handout. Well, for about 2 years, anyhow.

I wouldn’t want to be rich, you have to get that big house, the big car, the big boat, the big jet, the polo ponies; work, work, work.

Okay, you want to be happy? Resolve all this? 1. Kill wife (cleverly, you have to get away with it), 2. Get a triple espresso and a doughnut.

Money is not important to me. I have all I’ll ever need. Family is more valuable…til they ask for a loan. lol
