I like them. But I have to admit, I like them a lot better with some bacon and onions. Or a nice sweet and sour glaze. Or a good dollop of chili crisp.
I learned at an early age that if you eat your vegetables while they are hot, they are much easier to swallow, especially if you don’t like them in the first place. Once they are cold, staring at them, after everyone else has left the table, won’t make eating them any easier to choke down. So I still eat all vegetables first while they can still melt butter or cheese. .
When I was a child my mother would tell us that Brussel sprouts were “Howdy Doody” cabbages to get us to eat them. I agree with CMXX, quarter the sprouts and fry them in bacon grease with cut up bacon and onions. Delicious!
I have recipe that everyone who has had it loves, even those who do not like them. I got it off a box of frozen brussels sprouts fifty years ago and tweaked it. Mushrooms cooked in butter. Cook sprouts in boiling water till tender and save the water. Brown the sprouts in butter in a skillet then add the mushrooms, minced garlic, and soy sauce cook for a couple from minutes. Add some of the save water and reduce to a sauce. Serve while still hot.

Think of them as tiny cabbages. (No, that doesn’t really help.)

I like them when cooked right. Overcooked and they are pretty bad.

My mom used to simultaneously boil a pot of water, cloves and cinnamon whenever she made Brussel sprouts. It was such a mixed message!

My favourite Brussel sprouts recipes are the ones that don’t include Brussel sprouts.
