Hate and personal attacks have become the norm. Where a candidate stands on the issues is secondary. You don’t vote for a person, you vote against another.
Politics was always full of mud slinging, but it has definitely reached new lows with the juvenile name calling. If it wasn’t so serious, it would actually be hilarious.
