    Termites are mostly in the southern states .You just have to spray them to get rid of them. Termite bonds are required to buy most houses in the south.

    Years ago there was a billboard that said “there are no termites in Florida“. Over the ensuing month, the billboard slowly got “chewed” away, removing the word “no” so all there was left was a half eaten billboard that said “there are termites in Florida”. The final reveal was a large termite on the billboard, that said “burp“.

    I never understood why most houses in the USA are built in wood. Brick houses resist fire and termites much better.
