Sounds like an underground job.

Judging by the weather and the snow drifts you should find it stuck about 20-30 feet from the underground parking lot exit.

So that means one assigned underground space is temporarily available?

Snow, freezing cold, high winds—and those two are still bareheaded outside!!

What’s funny here is that other comics are celebrating the early signs of spring.

Ted looks considerably older than in his earlier strips. Has his playboy lifestyle finally caught up with him?

Just stolen? Shouldn’t you call the police?

Ohhh, yikes… my last three semesters at college, I lived at the grad house… You had to be 21 years old to live there… there was an above ground parking lot, and an underground one.. One semester I was in the above ground lot, the last two semesters I was in the underground lot. I wouldn’t trade that for anything. Plus, we had security.

Don’t they have security in those underground parking lots?

How did they get the car out of the garage? I well remember my Dad having to scrape the snow off the car windows in the winter.

If there is ice rather than just snow on the windshield I get in the car and warm it up.

Everything is a trade-off!

How can that be? There is no crime in Canada.

To those who live in warmer climates, take it from a Minne-snow-tan that brushing off ten inches of snow in the morning (as we’re about to get today and tonight) is also a pain.

This is a 20 year old strip. In Toronto, they’re stealing cars all over the place. Some people are using an old car to block their nice car in the driveway. Pull up close and box it in.

TOOSH!

It’s things like this that make me glad I don’t live where it snows.

It might seem unusual to see it snowing hard this early in spring but we just got socked with some cold weather today, not cold enough for snow, but uncharacteristically cold. Another reason why I don’t put cold weather clothing away until maybe May.

I grew up in the Buffalo NY area. At college I use to park my car where I’d be at the end of the day and take inter campus buses to get to classes (a parking space was something you never gave up). There were quite a few days I’d get back and end up clearing off a few cars with feet of snow on them before finding which one was mine.

Wow! I was born in Maine—I remember those winters in the ’50s. Now I live in the American Soutwest; what a difference.
