Maybe Pheobe’s just begun to *fix a unicorn.

Is there a refund service for unicorns?

“What seems to be the problem?”

“I’ll tell you what the problem is. It’s not indifferent. The label clearly says Dutchess Noticeable Indifference, and yet it immediately asked me to pay more attention to it.”

“Of course. It is important that you notice how indifferent it is.”

“If it cares about what I think of it, it is not indifferent!”

“Yes, it is!”

“No, it isn’t!”

“Yes, it is!”

“No, it isn’t. And when I pointed that out, it started crying and admitted to being a fraud.”

“Well, I guess you’ll want a replacement, then. How about this? Lord Splendid Humility. The most humble being in existence, as it will be the first to tell you.”

“If it wants to tell me that it is the best in anything, that’s not humble!”

“Yes, it is!”

“No, it isn’t!”

“Yes, it is! See how it’s humbly hiding in the bush and only shows its horn.”

But on the other side of the coin, the poor unicorn probably needed to get this off her chest finally.

I’m pretty sure this particular unicorn came pre-broken. This was just the nudge that cracked the glue.

I love comic strips but it is rare when they make me laugh. I laughed for quite a bit over this one. Kudos Dana Simpson!!!

Phoebe only broke DNI’s mask. Maybe after that liberating cry, she will be allowed to start a new life and have a new name. I hope Marigold is still interested in her if she stops being indifferent.

Duchess sounds like a teenager. My niece went through a stage like this when she was about 13. I blew her mind by telling her that answering “Whatever” to everything anyone said was the same as saying “I don’t care” and was extremely rude.

No, no Phoebe. You helped her break through! Now the healing cam begin. :p
