We just got what seems like the first snow in a month, looks to be a trace on the sidewalk, but it’s covered up the brown grass entirely. With a forecast to be back in the mid 50s to low 60s tomorrow and Monday.
Too bad that it’s leap year and we have an extra day in February. I remember that April 1 was on a Sunday in 1984 as it is this year. That meant that we had a Friday the Thirteenth in April and it coincided with Good Friday. This year, April Fool’s Day coincides with Easter Sunday.
In Oklahoma City, the daily high temperature has hovered around 70 for the past week, and it’s supposed to hit 83 on Monday. True, Oklahoma is not ideal for sailing ships, but the Revenge must have gone well out of its way to find a spot in the high arctic where the sea still freezes over for months at a time.
I’m with Nate, I’m not a fan of cold and snow. However, February hasn’t been nearly as cold nor snowy as expected year…and that living two block from Lake Erie. Lake effect snow really hasn’t played much of a factor at all this year. I sure hope I haven’t jinxed myself for March!

Our February has had a LITTLE snow but more temps in the 50s. There were folks walking around in t-shirts and shorts … in New York!

This is not your typical Chicago winter at all.

I live in Northern Michigan it’s been like March most of the so-called winter. If we don’t get decent spring rains it’s gonna be very dry.

Here in Ohio we’ve had a very mild winter so far. It’s more like living in southern Georgia.
