And thus the end of the arc, it’s been a fun ride. Tree went down because it was weakened.

That dirty kite-eating tree is out of the way. I don’t think he’ll bite any more of them, though.

Glad an African America character was featured here for a story arc.

A bite for the kite, proved to be mightier than the termites.

“If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” No more kite-eating?

What do little kids know.

“When I grow up, I want to be like you, Charles !” What a great day for this poor Charlie Brown.

I occasionally wondered if Charlie Brown kept in touch with these kids. They liked him, he liked them, he was a pretty good manager when he wasn’t a player…

If only the whole world was!

If more people grew up like Charlie Brown it would be a better place.

Ah, the panel I’ve been waiting for, “Did everyone hear that?” Wild that the kids in Charlie Brown’s neighborhood harp about his lack of leadership abilities, yet never step up themselves.

Yes, Chuck. You influenced a young kid to be an escaped criminal, when he grows up.

According to a social media report posted by the mechanic who services my second cousin’s car, the tree is appealing the case.

Charlie should wait till he’s away from Milo lest the little guy think he’s just an insecure white kid afterall.

Looks like Charlie Brown has brought some hero worship into Milo.

The perfect crime. He destroyed his own evidence.

There will be other trees to eat Charlie Brown’s kites.

I’ve enjoyed Charlie Brown being appreciated and respected. A small glimpse of the man he may become.

Truth is, a whole lot of us are like Charlie Brown.

So many questions…Was this really the end of the Kite Eating Tree? Did they play the game? Who pitched for the Peanuts gang? Who won?

I guess that’s the end of the arc, but I guess I wanted to see him say goodbye to all the little kids n the team and hear what they had to say. Oh well, it’s Charlie Brown, so that’s as good as we are gonna get.

This is like the ‘Mister Sack’ story. People who don’t know Charlie Brown actually come to respect when they get to know him.

Milo was removed from the strip because Charles didn’t want Chuck to get a big(ger) head .
