It’s unseasonably warm here. My fruit trees have budded out and the peach tree is in full flower. I’m concerned that a late freeze will ruin the blooms.
I’m with Wally…we are getting our ‘winter’ this week, apparently, 15 cm (6 inches) of #$%@ snow – again – overnite. And I thought I left the north to get away from this…
And i am with everyone on the clocks…it is an RPITA, with absolutely zero benefit to anyone any more. Worst is, the Province long ago introduced – and passed – legislation making us PST year ‘round, but won’t enact it until Yukon, Washington, Oregon and California all agree to do the same….in other words, it’ll never happen.
We have had one actual snowstorm in maybe 3 years, it was this year. Dustings which could not even be shoveled (no matter how hard husband tried to shovel them) maybe once a year. We grew up with snowstorms which were taller than us when we were in elementary school.
At least I don’t have to worry about slipping, falling and injuring my now old self when no snow.
There is always snow in March, sometimes the worst storms of the season. On March 22 we just got one of the biggest snows of this season. But then it warmed up and was not a problem a few days later.

That was last week in Kansas City, where Tuesday it got to 72°, then snowed that night and got down to 12 and with wind chill felt like -2.

I’ve never seen a double-door in Drabble. But I’ve never taken notice. Maybe it’s not the front door.
