When this happens to us we say we have COL. Cat On Lap. It’s a valid excuse. It came from the Pickles strip a while back.

I’ve got one in my lap right now. We got her at local adoption agency. We went into the free range room to meet another cat. I sat on the floor and this one came over climbed in my lap curled up and started to purr.

They use the Feline Force to radiate waves of immobility.

It is not in the Koran but it is said the prophet Mohammed cut off the hem of his favorite robe rather than disturb the cat who was sleeping on it.

I’d say this robot has reached sentience and is rapidly moving towards developing a soul. Caring about others not related to you is the first step.
