/// Lucie looked at what Vivianne drew,

“Your reflection? It does look like you.”

    With a frown, Viv looked up;

    she’d been sketching her pup.

Lucie, you’ve got some ’splainin’ to do!

The dog was regretting taking the modeling as he thought about the tree outside.

“Use your imagination, dear. I want you to draw The Hound of the Baskervilles for Mr. Doyle’s latest book cover. Little Mitzi will just have to serve as model. Picture her as a huge fearsome beast, her jaws dripping with bloody slaver!”

No man l’ve been with could find that spot. But, good luck, if you think a picture might help.

Contrary to popular belief, Anne Brontë was not Charlotte and Emily’s sister but their Pekingese.

Martha was getting sick and tired of her sister’s helpful suggestions and was close to responding violently with her pencil and drawing board.

Oh, Cheryl, it’s just a cute little puppy; stop making everything dirty, and put some clothes on his master, walking him.

    Clarice critiqued Clara’s perspective/

In a manner that proved ineffective:/

    It was audibly spurned/

    And her buttocks were burned/

By a blistering burst of invective!

Well dear, it certainly is different. Maybe from now on you should stick to paint-by-number kits.

The lesson I draw from this /

is that when you’re critiquing your sis/

    you may skirt the abyss/

    but you won’t win a kiss/

and you certainly won’t achieve bliss !

    The Drawing Lesson

    Paste (including the quote marks)

    "Category:1820s genre paintings" Wikimedia

(syntax supported by the Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia and Yandex search engines) in the browser address bar (or search for it using one of those search engines) and choose the first Category: found and once there find the text string Camus, and click its link for info and links that point to more info about this roughly B4 paper size painting. If your browser isn’t set up to handle .tiff images, to see an enlarged image there and avoid the 97.07 MB image download to your device, click a size under the image, rather than the image itself.

Again, a larger strip image is shown by (Ctrl- or right-) clicking the image in Mr. Melcher’s MASTERPIECE #3276 (February 26, 2024) blog entry, accessible by the Check out the blog! box after the last comment, and using the dropdown menu (even larger, if you trim what’s after .png from the URL). I have added a comment there pointing to info about this artist I used to point to here. Only work by him used here so far.
