Ok, call me a stickler for details but the last score had Milford up 1. Maybe they skipped a possession or 2 but it Milford is up then why are they shooting at all? Maybe Gil took the Mudlarks and layed the points.
Trist or trust is the key word today and recent Milford time. Makes me think of Mike Damone’s Elvis Costello poster in his bedroom after he knocks up Stacy Hamilton.
And Rod trusts Inma, so he threw the ball to her. Unfortunately, she was sitting in the stands, so the ball was out of bounds, resulting in a turnover. But it is a valuable life lesson to learn how to lose, and Gil’s teams have learned MANY valuable lessons.
The Milford Mudlarks: the team whose players trust one another so much that they just keep passing the ball back and forth, indefinitely. Is this their key to victory? Well, they never shoot, so they never score, so no, it isn’t. But the trust! Think about the trust!
I always love how, in Milford, everyone brings their old-timey flashbulb cameras and are constantly taking shots during the game from the stands. Must be really distracting for the players. And speaking of distracting, I hope nothing is distracting you from reading today’s Mopped Up Thorp.
Hey, Gil, anyone COULD have made the shot, it doesn’t mean they WOULD have made the shot. Heck, even Jami COULD have made the shot. The percentage may have been 0.02%, but he COULD have.

And then there’s Rod…

Well, if he could make the shot, why wouldn’t you make it and avoid a possible steal, bad pass…wait, those are all sports concepts…sorry.

How did Uncle Leo possibly pass the ball with his fingers in every which direction?

Rod bumps his head on the ceiling and commits a turnover.

P2 has it going on. Big hands, big balls, Signman and Fistpump Man firing up the crowd – plus a bonus active shooter drill!

ToBe passes the ball to Leo who swings it over to Rod who’s wide open. Rod shoots! CLANK! BUZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
Rod to a sobbing ToBe (whose year just got a little harsher) afterward: “You f—ked up. You trusted us!”

How nice. We’re all trusting each other. Is anyone going to shoot?

Hey, Fistpump Man, is this the first time we were able to get seats next to each other?

So who are the other two starters? All that’s ever shown in the lineup is the three stooges here.

And there’s the final horn. Milford loses by one without getting off the last shot!!

P1- New sponsor is Nike.
P2- This comment doesn’t even make sense.
P3- Rod is so cocky now that he’s going to take “the shot” while sitting on a chair.
