    There’s no shrinkflation. In fact, just the opposite. For instance, my gas tank used to hold about $17 worth of gas. Now it holds almost $40!

    I remember this happening in the 1970s when candy companies tried to keep a candy bar to a nickel. The Hershey’s bar had about as much chocolate as an M&M does today.

    It is also interesting to see how much the 3-lb can of coffee shrank since then. Every time they change the container, it contains fewer ounces.

    I’ve noticed the shrinkflation at Jimmy John’s. Pay almost $10.00 for a turkey sandwich without cheese.
