Lima beans are good — unless they’re cooked poorly.

Beans, beans, the musical fruit, the more you eat, the more you toot!

Lima beans are wonderful.

I like Lima beans. It’s Brussels sprouts I can’t stand.

Lima beans were my mothers favorite. I’ve eaten enough of them to know I don’t have to ever eat them again.

Marketing makes the Economy grow faster?

Texture is the main reason why Lima beans do not “taste” good to me.

Delicious, nutritious, makes me feel ambitious!

But almost everything is a product for marketing and ads.

Remember, the object of advertising is to have you get up from a full meal feeling hungry. What you just bought isn’t enough.

BUT WAIT!! THERE’S MORE . . .

Which is why they keep renaming fruits and vegetables.

It has never been otherwise. We have that in common with every other generation.

Lima beans DO need plenty of marketing. I suppose that spinach is in the same group.

Worth mentioning that brussels sprouts are better tasting now than they used to be thanks to the tireless efforts of scientists who really want us to eat our brussels sprouts

There’s a guy in Seattle that reminds me of Frazz. He works as a Metro bus driver even though he is a successful author and film producer. As a bus driver, he goes out of his way to drive the most dangerous bus routes and to interact with the passengers.

His name is Nathan Vass. His blog is fascinating.

Cannot eat Lima beans, send them back to Peru…

Lima beans and black eyed peas. Give me the wrapper they come in. I would rather eat it.

The fact that delicious rhymes with nutritious seems suspicious.

We live in an era where accumulating money is everything. Marketing is just one of the methods.

It is why ‘essential’ jobs and those who perform them are looked at with contempt.

And “tasty” rhymes with “hasty.”

I’ve seen some movies that are worse than Lima beans.

I love what they call “baby limas”, but the bigger ones were forced on us in the grade school cafeteria and I hate them!

My late husband would eat almost anything but lima beans.

Tip: As you are eating food with someone, comment on how salubrious it is.
