I thought Lucy was a horse, not a cat.

Well, duh.

That’s horse sense.

It’s Always feeding time!

“Time to put on the old feed bag,” as my great-uncle would say.

Pretty soon she’ll realize that it’s time to get her watch fixed.

Ask a stupid question….get a stupid answer.

Saw a news article about a zoo on eclipse day. The giraffes all came out to get fed as they thought it was feeding time!

C,mon y’all! It’s time to buy a new watch. Can I get a rimshot?

Lucy is right.

With most animals, anytime is feeding time.

I am acutely aware of that particular internal clock.

Hmmm Danae actually knows what a watch is? And wears one? My grandnephew (age 9) spent about 15 minutes trying to understand why I wore that “weird ugly bracelet” thing on my wrist, and “didn’t I have a phone?” And if I did, why’d I need both?

Danae has an old-fashioned watch?!?

The other time she knows is sleep time!

I love watching the old westerns on TV, and especially the horses. They show a lot of personality while the humans are off doing their acting thing. First thing most of ’em do after a dismount is down goes the head, tearing at the grass.

“I’m a horse. I always know what time it is.”

“So what time is it?”

“It’s POOP time!”

“How do you know?”

“Because I’m a horse, so it’s ALWAYS poop time!”

Now that your butt is out of the drain…you want to eat.
