In a Parliamentary system like the UK or Canada, multiple parties make sense because they can form coalitions to control the government. Our system is binary by design and even independent Senators and Congress members caucus with one party or the other. “Third parties” and beyond can only be spoilers.

Bit premature. While some folks think we are a binary system and will only have two parties, history says otherwise. Today’s two parties were not the only ones from the beginning – they came to be in 1828 and 1854. And the most recent example of another party rising to power is the Communist Party USA. Their strategy of taking over the Democrat Party has resulted in the death of the old Democrat Party of JFK’s time and replaced it with the new far left extreme party of today. The name’s the same, but the party is far from what it once was.

I’ve said it before. This election is going to be a binary choice between Republicans and a police state, and Democrats who will protect your rights.

I’m sure it will get raised from the dead again (it does look like a time capsule in the comic).

Just like research repeatedly kills trickle down economics, but it keeps being brought back as Zombie Reaganomics. The darn monster just won’t stay slain.

No Labels has refused to have a platform so that we could decide to go for or against them.
