This is what people who live on the beach have to deal with . We had to pick up everything from cans to folding chairs and umbrellas. People would buy cheap crap at Walmart and instead of taking it home they would leave it on the beach.
The mentality of people who throw their trash just anywhere has always been a bit of a mystery to me. It’s so easy to dispose of one’s trash properly.
Try visiting some of the beaches along the Gulf Coast. You can collect huge globs of crude oil on the bottom of your feet / shoes without even trying. Now that is disgusting. People who go to the beach in those areas now know to take along a can of some kind of solvent to wash the gunk off before heading home.

OMG! This is what my beach walks look like – except I carry a large bag with me so that it all gets picked up.
