Inflation started under the trump administration, so I wonder why they keep trying to blame President Biden. I doubt republicans and their supporters have a grasp of economics.
No effective legislation to improve border control
Floods and wildfires
Voter suppression
Abrogated female healthcare and no control over their reproduction decisions
Erosion of civil rights
Unfettered access by anyone to all types of lethal weapons
The destruction of an Eastern European democracy by an invading dictatorship
The genocide of a Muslim culture
ALL SO THAT A DERANGED DEMENTED INCOMPETENT INEFECTIVE FAT ORANGE CLOWN CAN RETURN TO THE WHITE HOUSE…
…where he can golf, watch Faux News, get fatter, give rambling nonsensical slurring speeches, lie multiple times a day, send love letters to dictators and pretend he is a leader as his Fascists toadies and lackeys secure their power and steal the wealth of others.
If only we had a collaborative Congress working together to SOLVE problems — as most voters WANT — instead of irresponsible, do-nothing-useful, divisive, bickering, obstructive, problem CAUSING politicians wresting control from We The People.
Inflation is 3% right now. And the president does not control a worldwide economic system that leads to inflation anyway! Go ahead Lisa. Keep fooling the rubes. You blow smoke and shine mirrors with the best of them!
An increase in the supply of money is the root of inflation, though this can play out through different mechanisms in the economy. A country’s money supply can be increased by the monetary authorities by:
● Printing and giving away more money to citizens
● Legally devaluing (reducing the value of) the legal tender currency
● Loaning new money into existence as reserve account credits through the banking system by purchasing government bonds from banks on the secondary market (the most common method)
In all of these cases, the money ends up losing its purchasing power.
Keeps creeping up. And while the rate of inflation is off the peak, the increases are on top of already too high prices. And when it comes to necessities like food, energy, and housing, the inflation rate is a disaster.
Inflation is cumulative. The 26% inflation of Biden`s first three years will not go away unless there is deflation. The current 3% inflation is on top of the 26%. When food, gas etc. goes down, I will believe it.
Corporations run by Republican CEO’s are gouging the consumers who blame Biden. This helps Trump’s chances to give another $2 trillion to corporations. It’s a win win for corporations.
Lisa’s big on inflation but seems oblivious of the cause. I guess being able to draw cartoons and knowing stuff don’t necessarily go hand in hand. This.. is what doodling in economic classes got you.
Inflation by definition is an increase in the money supply. An increase in prices is usually a result of inflation. I don’t print money. Corporations (other than the FED) don’t print money. Who prints money?
A rise in inflation was the God send Repubs were hoping for to hurt Biden in the polls. But, these rises and falls, like the Stock market, are normal. As the Fed will halt plans to lower prime interest rates to get a better handle on inflation inflation will probably stabilize before dropping down further. Then Repubs will have to go back to the age thing to hurt President Biden.
Anecdotal for sure, but the prices on several regularly purchased items at the grocery have dropped, one by about 20%. Since he is clearly and directly responsible, thanks Joe!
so Don the Con was given a strong sturdy growing economy thanks to his predecessor… immediately tries to take credit for it before he even did anything. Then when he finally gets around to doing something he basically divvies up the surplus among himself and his billionaire friends by way of those atrocious tax cuts… then being ever so greedy he decides its not growing fast enough for his taste … so he rips out all regulations and safeguards… basically the same as a driver wanting his car to go faster so he strips out all the airbags, seatbelts, spare tires, bumpers, etc… then it really starts to zoom… just as long as he doesn’t hit a speed bump… hello covid… goodbye economy. so he leaves the country headed straight toward a recession… unemployment skyrocketing… inflation booming… every economist who was asked all reported how dreadful the outlook was… So steady Joe takes over… first thing the Right does (again before he has even done anything) is talk about how Bidenomics is ruining everything and is to blame for the recession and inflation… so not only did the rich get all the surplus… they are now able to blame the ruins on Biden… but somehow… to everybody’s amazement both Left and Right… Joe steadies the ship… gets inflation under control… ridiculous job creation numbers… unemployment at record lows… and the recession that was promised is nowhere to be found. … now finally after months and months of lowering inflation it ticks up a smidge and we are supposed to hand the keys back to the idiot who wrecked the economy in the first place the way he wrecks everything he touches??? yeahhh nahhh… yall can’t be that gullible.
If people think inflation is bad now just wait if trump is elected, since it started under his administration, we will all get to see it get even worse.

Once again, MAGAts have NO concept of market concentration, and don’t believe it exists.
And, even if it does exist, it has no effect on inflation — that inflation is a result only of ’Biden’s policies’, which they cannot identify.
