I’m surprised that some American families pay cable television even though they barely watch it.

When I had cable, I was a Weather Channel junkie

These days, the late show with Colbert is pretty much it. I gave up on over-priced cable TV but can still see episodes on Youtube the next day after they air.

There’s nothing good on TV, anyways.

Watching shows you both hate seems like it could be a good bonding experience, razzing on it!

I too am involved with someone who watches stuff that hurts him. I understand the sentiment. lol

I have to admit I used to watch a lot of TV. Nowadays the TV doesn’t get turned on until the afternoon unless there’s a sportsball game I want to watch or a severe storm is blowing in.

I havent seen live tv in years. used to watch some gutfeld reruns though

I cut the cord a year ago and never looked back.

I stopped watching TV years ago. It is mind numbing, negative, and depressing. Now I watch baseball, football, and CBS Sunday Morning for entertainment.

I gave up TV for years when I couldn’t afford cable. Didn’t miss a thing. Realized it was all BS once I could afford it and gave it up for good.

Why doesn’t watching football games count as watching TV?

I find myself watching the same shows that I watched in the 60’s.

Why would anyone watch shows they hate? There are so many other things to do.

Never understood the concept of “Hatewatching”.

Joe and Marcy are watching medical shows and police procedurals.

I’ve given up hate watching…I still hate read, though.

Not sure I see the point of that, but to each their own.
