Ain’t that the truth!

First panel, Connie is running sort of normally with the correct motion of left arm forward with left leg back, and right arm back with right leg forward. I am so excited by this, I will ignore the whole “arm across my chest” motion. Unfortunately, Elly cannot match Connie and she looks so awkward when they are standing side-by-side. Sadly, by the time they get to the fourth panel, they are both back to their awkward and unnatural running style.

Some day, Connie—those “boys” will leave home for good! And I hope that Michael pays for the food he eats.

My son has his own apartment, but he still comes home to eat once or twice a week.

Not mention towels on the floor, spittle all over the bathroom mirror, and he forgets to flush..

Again we see that their arms and legs are in the wrong position while running.

I had to take care of a friend’s shy cat. If the food and water dish were empty and the cat box was full. I was dong good work.

I wonder how many of our chronic complainers are artists – or authors.

Why is Elly out jogging with Anthony?

I remember when my older sister moved out on her own. She always came home to grocery shop.

Michael will become a nice, tidy success story

When my son came home to visit my grocery bill went up about 30% – there were no leftovers and no snacks to be found – we started shopping every day :o)

Well, that’s one way to tell he’s home.

When children mature and leave, Mom and Dad can enjoy unlimited hot water, lots of room in driveway, grocery bill cut in half, you get picture?

Many families never learn the definition of the word leftovers until the kids have left the house.

Plus, there’s a shortage of toilet paper and paper towels

Since this a comic strip, it would be funny to see what Elly wants for her son in a cartoonish format.

Before Michael was in tattered jeans, cheap T-shirt and dirty sneakers. He emerges from that building wearing a tailored suit
