    using the slash mark that we canā€™t use here at go comics to represent ā€œandā€ is a recent inexplicable trend here in japan. i keep explaining to customers that, if anything, it means ā€œand/or,ā€ but that itā€™s just not a good idea. and then, just the other day, i received a translation job in which the slash mark appeared once again ā€“ the writerā€™s job title was shown as ā€œpresident slash mark CEOā€ā€¦ ā˜ŗ
