I just love the precious Roscoe : )

Our 70 pound sheepdog got into a bag of Hershey’s chocolate miniatures containing milk chocolate, dark chocolate, mr. goodbar, and krackle. She ate the whole thing – paper and all and survived another ten or so years. She was a hoot!

One Christmas I had bought 5 small sample boxes of chocolates for stocking stuffers. I had them in a bag, in a box in my bedroom. Whilst I was out shopping my Lab/Shepard mix found the bag in a box and tore them all to pieces and ate every chocolate in there. He never even got sick. I did though when I saw the horrendous mess he had made of the packaging. My dogs have had nibbles of chocolate here and there with no problems. (Never dark chocolate though—that gives me a migraine and probably would bother a dog)

It’s true; dogs are one of the biggest optimists around. Maybe that’s why one human year is seven dog years….

I’m hopeful that I might re-incarnate as an optimistic dog rather than a pessimistic heath nut ……more fun that way!

Wife used to give our Cocker Spaniel licks off her ice cream cones. Some were intentional, some not.

My sister had to bring her collie here to the house today because he has a hotspot (and cone of shame). But it was a good day for him to be here, since we had turkey after church, and he got all the gristly bits when Mom was de-meating the carcass afterward!
