It’s the expansion team from the capital of British Columbia. They call themselves the Victorian Hoop Skirters.

I thought my girlfriend was a tight end, but it turns out she was a wide receiver.

When I was a little lad, there were 8 National League teams and 8 American League teams, three of which were in my home town of New York.

The winner of one league played the other in the World Series.

Today we have dozens of teams and a multi-tiered playoff system designed to favor whatever above 500 team is hottest at the end of the year.

So we now have the boys of summer, playing the October Classic in November.

Also with all the rule changes there are now asterisks modifying asterisks in the records book.

…anymore these days. I know being overweight can be genetic, but in my high school of some 1800 kids in tge early 70’s, there was only one obese guy, and a handful of fairly chunky kids. Something has definitely changed over the years…(too much McDonald’s and video games perhaps??…I do like their fries, tho!)
