Maybe she wants off the case? Being incompetent, she hasn’t the guts to recuse herself and hopes that someone in the DoJ will replace her. This way, the delay will obtain at no cost to Cannon.

Cannon was not picked for her judicial experience; she was picked because she is a hack. We cannot expect objective rulings, just sycophancy and blatant favoritism. As a judge, the woman is a disgrace and a joke.

One of many dangers of a second Trump Presidency will be more Judges who put Republican politicians above the law!

Cover sheets are used to protect classified documents. In an investigation anything that MIGHT be considered a classified document MUST be treated as a classified document. It’s the LAW. It’s SOP.

Come one folks. How likely is it that the FBI would allow itself to be used as a tool of the Biden administration? Give them some credit for being professional law enforcement.

This judge should be impeached quickly.

Donny’s been complaining his current case judge is partial and unfair. His problem is, unlike Judge Aileen Cannon, his current case judge Merchan has been fair and lenient to a fault.

Aileen Cannon is really the only one who is on trial. Trump is guilty on so many charges ( read the indictment) and there is so much evidence that the only way he could be found innocent is if the trial is not fair. She has already arranged to have the trial moved from the scene of the crime to the reddest possible area she could, increasing the chances of having a solidly MAGAt jury who will ignore the facts as “fake news” and now has delayed again. The idea that more time is needed to review facts on a case that is three and a half years old is ridiculous. And, a dishonest judge might be able to find a way to let him off with a fine. If she does, she will never be respected as a judge again. Even her supporters will consider her a pushover hack.

She is falling in line with what happens to all of Trump’s associates. Their careers and legacies become putrid garbage. Ask Rudy.

I suspect he or his minions have promised her a SCOTUS nomination if he won in ’24.

Sounds like most of those commenting here think we should elect a majority Democrat house (capable of issuing an impeachment for the judges and justices who lie, cheat, and pervert the course of justice) and a super-majority in the Senate (so partisan Republicans can’t block a conviction when the evidence is clear).
