I’m wondering if these little kids are big enough to carry a bag, which is often heavy in itself, and a full set of clubs. I was in high school when I caddied and I was a big kid, too. Of course, this is comic land, so anything is possible. Besides, the golfer might get a better deal with pint sized caddies.
So in looking up age requirements to be a caddie, I find the Fair Labor Standards Act prohibits children under 14 from working, and limits the hours for children under 16. However, there are a few exceptions. In Illinois, you can work as a caddie at 13. 12-year-olds in Wisconsin can caddie, but they can’t drive the cart. You can be 11 in Michigan and caddie, while Colorado how the lowest minimum age for caddies at 9.
This isn’t meant as judgement or anything, just an observation.
Is it possible that Charles Schulz was so forward thinking that he wanted to comment on the Ace spectrum? Especially in regard to Patti and Marcie? Mind blown.
I played the Ace Club several times, in Lafayette Hill, just outside of Philadelphia, but this can’t be it since Ace was created around the year 2000 as a redesign of Cigna’s wonderful Eagle Lodge course.

Hopefully it’s not a sister thing to the Ace Obedience School.

If it was the ACME Country Club, a coyote would be a member.

You see where Patty and Marcie are levitating in the fourth panel? This is the only time that I recall seeing the backs of their heads.

Peppermint Patty should be warmly welcomed at the ACE Country Club.
Because isn’t she last year’s honorary grad of the ACE (dog) Obedience School?

When I wasn’t much younger than them I started a country club for some of my toys – horses, cows, pigs, sheep … animals that live in the country.
