Collectively, there is quite a bit of knowledge and wisdom found in the comments. I usually find one or two pearls a week. For example on Sunday, Furbabies by Ms. Beiman told the story of Smoky, the first therapy dog and an genuine canine hero.

It’s no worse than other advice.

I’m not quite sure I’ll find the meaning of life but I’m sure I get through the morning with a few laughs.

With great power comes great responsibility

Just try and stay away from the political commentary. :)

Is there some way I can monetize this ? So far my wisdom isn’t get me any richer.

If it’s on the internet then it must be true!

I think reading the comments at Breaking Cat News has helped me with the NY Times Connections puzzle 3 times now. Not sure that is quite the meaning of life though.

That guy’s a fraud! There’s nothing but hacks, goof-balls, and old people on here!

Wise advice…but I think the old wise (you know what) at Pearls Before Swine is wiser! (Lol!)

I do learn a lot by reading the comments on GoComics. Maybe not the meaning of life, but a lot of good, useful (and sometimes, useless) information.

I learn alot from the comments on the comics.
