Weird so far in FL, seen maybe 20 lovebugs, killed 2 male horse flies and seen maybe 5 yellow flies (female horse flies), over abundance of sod web worms. they get on your shoes and you have to scrap them off and they kill whatever lawn you might hope for…I love FL…NOT
Living on the Shores of Lake Erie we had Mayflies (Canadian Soldiers) blown over the lake from Canada twice, once in Cleveland and a second in Buffalo while driving. Cleveland episode was a bit scary as I was only a young kid; Buffalo swarm caused us to pull over and wipe the windshield clean of splattered bugs!
