‘Not an accident’: Trump’s ‘Unified Reich’ video alarms historians and fascism experts
Political experts, historians, and scholars of fascism are sounding the alarm after Donald Trump posted video Monday afternoon that promised a “unified Reich,” once again echoing language used by Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany.
“Trump’s continued use of Nazi rhetoric is un-American and despicable. Yet too many Americans are brushing off the glaring red flags about what could happen if he returns to the White House,” former Trump White House deputy press secretary Sarah Matthews warned. “When someone shows you who they are, believe them.”
The video features made-up newspaper headlines claiming a Trump win of the 2024 presidential election. It asks, “What’s Next for America,” and promotes “the creation of a unified Reich.”
“Another headline in the video suggests that Mr. Trump in a second term would reject “globalists,” using a term that has been widely adopted on the far right and that scholars say can be used as a signal of antisemitism.”
Political commentator and former Clinton White House aide Keith Boykin posted an ABC News segment on the “unified reich” video, and remarked: “Donald Trump is openly copying Hitler’s Nazi language about a ‘unified reich’ and warning about ‘poisoning the blood’ of America, and people are still acting like this is a normal election.”
Don’t let the fatigue get you down, this is their game plan.
We have to understand that trump supporters are not electing people because they think they are the most noble, or best qualified people for the office, they admire trump despite his being the antithesis of family values. —
The con party is about identity politics.
Which means all the rotten behavior with trump and his cabal —
that is what the cult members admire them for. These are the voters who like dirty pool, because… winning is winning.
how did we get to a 6/3 conservative majority on the court?
Dirty pool.
We all know that if Harry Reid or Chuck Schumer had done what Mitch McConnell did to convert Barack Obama’s choice for a vacancy on the Supreme Court to one that trump picked to satisfy the Heritage Foundation — — if Schumer had done the exact same in order to pick a candidate chosen by MoveOn.org — there would have been apoplexy and outrage.
Let’s just admit this much:
The right wing has no integrity at all, beyond mob tactics and cheap shots, playground insults, all the while falling back on fake piety and imagined noble high ground that they never actually hold —
one cannot claim they took the high road, unless they actually drove on it got and off at the first exit
The cons…. did not, have not, and will not … because this is how the game is played to them.
And the voters (their voters) admire them for it, …all the lying, cheating, stealing, they love it … it’s some how owning the “libs”.
WHICH MEANS — the repug base is the one that plays dirty pool then goes to church on Sunday and is sure Jesus forgives all sins.
And so here we are, just keep wiping the sh!t off your shoes and keep on keeping on.
My nightmare is that the jury in the case he is currently facing will accept the idea that “legal expenses” in Trump’s records doesn’t not constitute fraud, and declare him innocent. After all, whatever you are paying a lawyer is “legal expenses”. If he would be found innocent on this charge, which is the least serious of the charges against him, the general population would only hear the one word, and fail to realize that he is charged with about 90 other things, all of which are so backed with fact that he is undeniably guilty.
But, if he is found innocent on this minor offense, he is more likely to be elected president by those who respond with " Well, gosh, he wasn’t lying when he said they were just out to get him!!" And, the really bad charges against him will be dismissed because he demands it. Then he will start a dictatorship which will guarantee that he will do whatever is needed to maintain him in that position, including jailing those who are currently pressing charges against him.

Mar-a-Lago hired more than 100 foreign workers last year as Donald Trump promises to restrict immigration and round up undocumented migrants for deportation.
Trump’s biggest campaign promise would cause ‘economic disaster’: analysis
Donald Trump’s promised crackdown on immigration could inflict mass misery and economic calamity, according to a new analysis.
The far right is relentless in pursuing its goal of a fascist America. Yes, their very existence and the embodiment of their corrupt program in Dj Trump is disheartening, disgusting, frustrating, and scary, but our resolve to resist and thwart their evil cannot flag.
He said that if he loses he would go away and we would never hear from him again. of course that was a lie—he has yet to concede and he works constantly to be in the spotlight (although I think the spotlight in the courtroom may have been a bit too intense for him)

This was the game plan in the 1930s Germany, making the people angry so they stop thinking.

Watching Trump is like watching a horrible train wreck in slow motion. You don’t really want to see the catastrophe, but it’s impossible to look away.

republiCON strategy is to keep the chaos going until the other side is too exhausted to keep fighting. Then they win.

And, yet, people apparently want another four years of reality TV, rather than an administration.
