That’s a strangely happy expression on Benji in panel 3. The artist flipped them from yesterday’s panel 1 with Kimmy moved slightly forward, but forgot to change Benji’s expression. A fascinating little glimpse into the work process.

I love how Benji and Kimmy pop up when there’s something paranormal going on. I’m kinda surprised we didn’t see them in the Friendship Goblin arc, but that was Kyle’s time to shine.

Along with their ice cream truck, haunted mansion and orc issues, I see a perfect game being “something terrible happening!”

I think Benji is looking forward to the consequences. This is a classic set up of “Oh No! Don’t do that, or this will happen!,” where of course the protagonist does just that, but I’m getting a reverse psychology vibe here. Either way, this should be a fun ride.
